Lock esclation happening in sql server 2008 DB used bu JIRA

Lock esclation happening in sql server 2008 r2 DB used by JIRA resulting in non creation of tickets.we had this issue before and atlasian suggested SNAP SHOT ON in the sql server and we didn't have the problem for some 2-3 months.

But we started experiencing again and any help is greatly appreciated.

Can you confirm that the transaction isolation level has not been reverted from the READ COMMITTED SNAPSHOT setting suggested by Atlassian support?

Have you tried using the SQL Server profiler to detect the quer(y/ies) that are causing the dealock? http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/ms188246.aspx
