Linking projects between multiple instances

We have a cloud instance of JIRA and need to link to a customer's local hosted instance of JIRA so that we can sync a single project between both. Is this possible? Basically the projects would mirror eachother.

Hi Nicholas, I think is not possible to synchronize same project on both instances because both instances sharing different database. Moreover, you can read an existing answer below:
