Linking an Issue to Another Project

Is it possible to link a single issue within a project to another project. I've linked issues to issues in separate projects, but need a single issue to point to another project.

Not really, links inside Jira are issue to issue. Linking to a project doesn't have a lot of use.

You could try using the "link to external url" function and link it back to the project header though, I've done that a few times. Doesn't do a lot other than provide the link on screen.
