Linking Confluence Tiny URL doesn't work in Jira

Test Case:

1. Go to Confluence page and copy the tiny URL from the share window 
2. Go to a Jira ticket and open the Link Confluence Page option: More>Link>Confluence Page.
3. Paste the Tiny URL and click Link.

Observed Behavior: 

• Error message displayed: "No Confluence page found with the given URL."
• When You try the above test case with "Regular" URL the linking works.

I've failed to link from several Jira instances.

Is it possible to Link a Tiny URL in Jira vs. 7.13.6?
