Limit a certain group/user to create tickets using only a certain issue type


Is there any way to restrict a group permission to create only tickets on a certain issue type only?

Like, for example, the support team to be able to create only support issue type tickets, even if a project has more issue types.

This is still an open request with Atlassian: has been resolved as won't fix.
