Is there any way to restrict a group permission to create only tickets on a certain issue type only?
Like, for example, the support team to be able to create only support issue type tickets, even if a project has more issue types.

There was an issue for this: https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-5865but has been resolved as won't fix.
