Labels within project

hi,

users of JIRA Software 7.3 , server users.

In our company, we have all users can create labels and it has been abused. now, we are planning run some queries off of the labels and run reports on that. i was told that labels dont have to be global but can be only contained to the projects.

how can this be done ?

how can i delete some of the global labels and have it populate at project level.

Thanks!

The standard Lavels field is global. But you can create new custom fields of type "Label field" and then restrict them to specific projects.

That way, the new label fields will be restricted within the project.
