Kerberos authentication and FishEye

Seung Wook Lee September 16, 2015

Hi,

I have some issues with Fisheye. I know that JIRA, Stash and Confluence are able to use Active Directory (AD) using Kerberos however Fisheye doesnt seem to support it. Using Crowd, all four products are compatible but not with Kerberos.

Question I would like to ask is:

  1. Is there some method for Fisheye to use Kerberos Authentication?
  2. If not is there an API library that we can use to use Kerberos?
  3. If both are not available is there any alternative work around?

Thank you

Hi,

You might want to take a look at the IWAAC (Integrated Windows Authentication for Apps using Crowd) plugin: https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.cleito.iwaac/server/overview

IWAAC now officially supports Kerberos authentication for FishEye and Crucible. The official documentation is available on this page: https://www.cleito.com/products/iwaac/documentation/integrated-windows-authentication-for-fisheye-and-crucible/

Best regards,

Bruno
