I would like to have the dates when the issue arrived to and exites an status in order to trace how many days the issue have been in this specific status.
I had the idea of adding a post-function to set the value of a custom field with the "sysdate" but I'm not succeeding in doing it.
Anyone can help?

The information you need is already in the history tab for an issue, but since you are OnDemand, I do not think you have direct access to calculate duration informaiton. I think the best you can do is download your daily xml export file and process through the xml file to extract the information you need.
