in JIRA is there any way to keep a particular user always logged in without being logged out due to session timeout ?

Hi kanchana,

the session timeout is a global parameter used by the webserver / tomcat. It is valid for all users connecting to the server, it can't be set for an individual user.

Maybe you are able to call Jira automatically every 10 minutes, so that the session never expires.

There are browser plugins that will do that for you. Just google for "auto refresh"
