Jmeter performance test (-Jremove.data flag)

Kaixi Luo March 16, 2015

Hi,

If I run your Jmeter tests (https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Performance+Testing+Scripts) with the flag -Jremove.data=false, will I be able to remove the test data by rerunning the test with -Jremove.data=true? Thanks.

I am actually not sure, but I would also warn you that the scripts you are referencing are very old and use a simple configuration, and do not provide a good simulation for current environments. Especially if you are using a large number of non default configurations.

So what should I use to measure the performance of the installation?

We have an internal solution which we are not publishing at this time. Maybe someone else in the community has a better suggestion.
