Jira using default email Id instead of Project Notification Scheme

Notification are not sent by the provided email id in project Notification scheme & are sent by default email id that I configured in Out going mail handler.

The steps that I followed to configuer the incoming mail ID

1. Selected Incoming Mail Handler from the System page.
2. Add POP/IMAP Mail Server & fill the following information
2.1 Name
2.2 Service Provider (Select based on the email service provider)
2.3 Protocol
2.4 User Name (Your email Id)
2.5 Password (Password of the email id).
2.6 Test Connection
3. Add Incoming Mail Handler
3.1 Name
3.2 Server (Select the one you created above)
3.3 Delay (For mail processing)
3.4 Handler (Please Select Add a Comment before specified marker or separator in the email body)
3.5 Split Regex (Regular Expression to indicate Start & End of the comment)
3.6 Click on Add
4. Go to the project for which you want to configure the incoming mail handler
4.1 Select Notification Scheme
4.2 Click Email edit & add the Incoming mail handler Email Id.

Are you using Exchange as mail server?
