Jira users don't get e-mail notifications

I configured JIRA and SMTP server. Test message was send successfully and I received it. Then I've made some issues, have added some comments etc., but didn't receive any notifications. E-Mail queue is empty.

What should I do to solve the problem? Are there any log files in JIRA?

If you go to your profile, you can check if JIRA is configured to notify for own changes, This can be globally done under Administration > General Configuration, see Managing your user profile

My Changes – Choose between making JIRA send you email notifications about issue updates made by either both you and other people (Notify me) or other people only (i.e. Do not notify me).
