Jira startup error: Unable to start the plugin container for plugin com.atlassian.sal.jira

I'm trying to enable SSO for my Jira instance with my company products. I'm trying to do that with Lastpass SAML plugin for Jira. https://github.com/lastpass/jira-saml

I installed the plugin according to the instructioons given and did the configurations but Jira is giving a startup error:
