Jira standalone to Ondemand try out.

We use stnadalone Jira andwould like to try/test OnDemand JIRA(With GreenHopper) for 3 months, Does it need to be a month of free trial and two month purchase of OnDemand License? - Is there any alternative we could work out with this?

Can I have previous version of Jira Ondemand (say 5.2.*) or I would have to adopt to 6.0.* (latest Ondemand offering)?

Anirudh, currently we only offer one month of free trial for the OnDemand subscription - which means that if you want to try it out for 3 months, one will be on us and the other two will be billed. The OnDemand applications are always running the latest versions of each of the Atlassian products and they are automatically upgraded every few weeks.
