Jira production login failed.

We are facing jira login issue. None of the user is able to login in production jira.

Jira version is 8.5

Error : sorry, communication error occurred while trying to connection remote authentication server

Charlie has given some useful information so far. Please be noted that Atlassian Community members can and will give you ideas on how to fix authentication issues in Jira, moreover many useful tricks can be read here.

But assuming this is a production environment which is covered by your IT team it makes sense to speak to them first.

Community has no access to your systems and mostly no in-depth knowledge about the configuration. So, in case there is an IT helpdesk for the system you are asking about in first place it makes sense to refer to them.

Hopefully you got to manage the authentication issue. As we did not have heard back from you yet I assume no news is good news in this particular matter ,)

We need some extra information here:

1. What kind of user directory are you using: Jira internal, LDAP, Crowd, ...?
2. Have you checked your Jira log files? There's some useful information in there probably
