I have a customer that wants to migrate their on demand JIRA instance to an on site installation. We looked at the migration document posted here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Migrating+from+JIRA+OnDemand+to+a+JIRA+Installed+Site
The document states that there is a migration blackout in effect from now until 1/14/14. We are unclear whether that means that any migration will fail during this time, or if that just means that certain functionality from on demand will not be available in the on site version. Please advise.
Sorry for any inconvenience, please refrain from the migration until mid next week if possible. Otherwise, if its urgent, support can leverage a release candidate envirnoment as a workaround. So if it needs to happen now, go ahead and submit a support request at support.atlassian.comand we'll address it accordingly. If you opt to do so, please include this answers link in the issue description to serve as a reference to the assigned support engineer.
