Jira not following to the issue, if authentication is required

I have had two users that have reported that if they click on a link and log using the Jira openID plug-in it sends them to the dashboard not the page for the link they clicked on. I have confirmed that it is repeatable.

steps to duplicate:

1. log out of JIRA
2. navigate to a JIRA ticket URL. you are redirected to the login page. notice the login URL contains the ticket number you were trying to reach:

3. click the OpenID button to login. You are taken to whatever your default front page is, not the URL you originally entered.

Has anyone else run into this and is there a fix?

This was corrected by the devloper of the plug-in.

it doesn't matter how many jira windows you have open the email link takes you to the login, which then redirects you to your home dashboard instead of the ticket.
