Not sure what changed. We used to go to mycompany.atlassian.com to log into Jira. Now going to that URL redirects to id.atlassian.com/login?......
It now requires logging in with an Atlassian account. We have setup our Jira users with usernames [first name].[last name]. ie: john.doe
We used to get a Jira login with input fields for username and pw. Now the Atlassian login page asks for email and password for the Atlassian account, not the Jira account we gave them.
What happened and how can I get our Jira login page to show again so that my users can login?
It sounds like your Cloud site has been migrated to Atlassian Account.
Read about it here: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/the-upgrade-to-atlassian-account-873871204.html
I think Atlassian would have sent an email to your site admin about this.
So this means that all my users now have an Atlassian account and that is how they should log into our Jira. Basically the username I set in our User Management page is never used anymore since they now log in with the email address instead of the username?

Yes. They log in with their email address.
Here's the page about Atlassian Account for users: https://confluence.atlassian.com/cloud/atlassian-account-for-users-873871199.html
