Jira import procedure (for Zephyr)

Viktor Mo April 28, 2015

Hi, I'm using native JIM importer utility to import my test cases like in link below:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Importing+Data+from+CSV

I understand that I can create issues with this procedure but my final task is to create Test (that comes from Zephyr installed on Jira) and this brings more challenges as you can have single or 20 test steps for each case.

For each test step you have to click button <Add> for new step entry, anybody try to do this ?

We have JIRA on the cloud so we can't use native JAR utility provide by Zephyr (https://zephyrdocs.atlassian.net/wiki/display/ZTD/Import) . This is 100% by JIRA and Zephyr support team.

Thanks all for help

Mario

The only way I know is by using the ZAPI http://developer.yourzephyr.com/zapi/index.php#samples

if ZAPI is not available on the cloud then drop me a mail please and I could give a hint

Thanks Alexander,

I did confirm that we can NOT use zephryr import utility on cloud, we actually have  valid SEN to work with.

I really appreciate if you can connect with me to found out at least what ways we can cut off.  for t ime being I tried to install trial Jira/Zephy (server) and could not make it work, can not even create TESTs.
