Jira email visibility for all users in organization


Hello, All.

As atlassian implemented GDPR improvements, there is also one setting related to email visibility. It's possible to make it masked/hidden/visible for all.

The question is, as an admin - how can I force "public" email visibility for all users inside my organization?

The link I found in confluence doesn't answer my question:

Hi Eugene,

Thank you for reaching out to Atlassian Community!
Currently, only the user can change this information directly on their profile, it's not possible to set the default visibility.
You can find more details about what changes an admin can make on the documentation below:

We have a feature request suggesting the ability to have more control over managed accounts:
Please, click on vote and watch to receive updates about the feature.


I'm using Jira Smartsheet connector and the name will not come over into Smartsheet unless the user is visible to all. This means the connector does not work the way it should/could. Following for possible updates
