Jira cloud Release Notes export

We are just getting started with Jira cloud and one thing we would like to be able to do is automatically generate Release notes that can be posted automatically to our release notes blog which uses Google blogger or a website. In looking at the JIRA notes for generating release notes based on version it seems that you have to copy and paste the generated notes to another application, which seems quite limiting:

Is there a way to do what we want to accomplish that anyone is aware of?  Is this something the JIRA Command Line Interface (CLI) Add-on can help with?

Thanks.

Hi David,

Unfortunately, I don't believe you can achieve that using Cloud. We have an open improvement regarding this request at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-6324. Please add yourself as a watcher to be notified of future updates.

Cheers,

Clarissa.
