Has anyone used Jira as a release management solution where all the CI/CD details are captured i.e. Git repo, code scan urls, jenkins server details, ansible or any other deployment solution/tool and as the ticket is transitioned through various stages the respective tool/job gets triggered until the codebase is compiled, build and deployed on a test server.
easy possible in a full Atlassian environment. More complicated in a mixed environment. You will have to work with WebHooks (outside triggered by Jira) and Rest API calls (Jira triggered from outside).
