Jira and Stash at one host, problem with authentication in browser

Nikolay Ivankin November 18, 2013

Well, I've just installed Jira and Stash at one server (default configurations), everything is fine, but when I switch between them in browser windows each of them ask for a password.

How can I avoid this annoying thing?

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/User+is+Constantly+Logged+out+of+JIRA could be the issue if you are constantly logged out. If so, use a different DNS name for the apps instead of ip or use context path.

Thank you!

This "Modify the Context path in server.xml" have helped me, I just set it in stash config and now everything is fine

I think you need Single Sign On setup for that. Check out this link https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/DEV/Single+Sign-on+Integration+with+JIRA+and+Confluence.

Yes, I've read about OAuth and 2-Legged OAuth.

I've got Jira+Agile+ServiceDesk+Capture+Git Integration Plugin for JIRA
