[Jira Servicedesk] Scriptrunner Custom Event in Postfunction blocks SLA

Hello i facing an ugly problem,

 

while Ticket Creation in Jira Service Desk is the problem, that the SLA time in the Tickets and the Input-Channel isnt set when i use the Postfunction "Script Postfunction" ->"Fires an Event when Condition is true".  I deactive the Events and all Works fine. 

Is there any info how i can work with Script Postfunction in Service Desk, the Fire Event with Condition is highly usefull for me ...

Hello Jens,

I believe you are being impacted by the following bug:

SLA will not be triggered if custom events are used as the event to be fired upon issue creation

Can you check if the workaround provided in the bug works for you:

  • Use the generic Issue Created event in the workflow transition for issue creation AND
  • Add the Issue created as one of the conditions to start counting time for SLA
