Hi,

I am testing the service desk for our needs. Its very nice to have that beautiful customer portal. Is it possible to disable the upper dropdown menu? The customer should not be able to chosse an agent.

Hi Christoph,

 

You are correct. That is not currently customizeable. You'd need to do it through coding in order to hide that option.

Hi Paula,

thanks for your reply.

I can create and delete the request types. And also edit the fields of the request types. But the mentioned drop down menu seems to be on top of the customer portal permanently and it is not a part of a customizeable request type sad

Hi Christoph,

You can choose the fields by following the steps below: 

  • Access JIRA
  • Click on Service Desk
  • Click on the project you want
  • Click on Settings
  • Click on Request Types
  • Click on Edit, next to the request type you want to update
  • There you'll be able to add and remove fields
