Jira Service Desk - customer edit own comments

Is there any way for a JSD customer to edit its own comments/initial submit? They usually make tipos..typos

No.. at least on the JIRA Cloud version's Service Desk Customer portal page, the customer can not edit his/her own comments. 

The same goes for the installed version of JIRA Service Desk.  Customer can add comments, not edit existing comments.

Our customers are also asking for this, Is there any reason why this is not possible ? Its seems kind of limiting ?
