Jira Service Desk 4.4.x does not work properly in Chrome/FF/Edge

All,

since SD v4.4.0 we see a strange behavior with Chrome/Edge/FF when using the "Comment" feature - it simply does not work anymore.

Both text fields (Text-only / Visual) are shown and the buttons "Share with customer"/"Internal"/"Cancel" do not work - Surprisingly, ith works in IE11.

Any clues how to fix that issue resp. when a hotfix will be available?
