Jira Premium for specific users and remaining all users only have view ,worklog permission

Hello,

Client work on fixed duration deployment/configuration projects. There are project managers who do the project planning and tracking, and remaining users just see the tasks assigned to them and can log hours against those tasks. This way there are a limited number of users who'll use all the Jira features and remaining users will
just report their working hours on assigned projects/tasks. Is it possible to have a premium license for 10-12 users while Jira ID's for all other users with only tasks viewing and log work feature.

They have identified Jira Software Premium, JSM, Timesheet Reports and Gadgets plugin as a tools and they are looking for :
Jira Software Premium - 10 Users
JSM - 3 Agents
Timesheet Reports and Gadgets - 50 Users
Customer require 50 users for plugin and 10 users for Jira is it feasible?

Hi @Disha Patil ,

it is not possible out of the box, as all the licensing handled by Atlassian is based on the number of users on the instance using Atlassian products.

However, marketplace vendors can generate discounts, so if you contact the vendor and describe your case there is a chance you will get the discount for your plugin.

However, since your use case is very specific, are you sure that you need 50 separate user accounts just to log time for their work?

Apps follow the number of users for the application. Therefore, if you have 10 users for Jira, then you will have a license timesheet for 10 Users. 

There is no separation between the two. All Apps follow the Jira user license count.
