Hi, With out Jira instance, we have the intial dashboard page load times of 5-8secs (4-6 onload) in firebug with the latest version of Mozilla. We have done a few things to improve performance (memory, garbage collection).

Are these load times considered slow or average or above average?

We have a manager that wants to get these down to the sub 2 second range. Is this a reasonable request?

We have around 20 projects with an average of 150-200 issues in each.

Hello Lance,

Also, if you could provide us some information of your server's hardware, that'd help us to grab a grasp of your situation.

Cheers

Hi Lance_lyons,

Those are average times. Usually over 10 seconds might indicate some problem.

We can not garantee that you will be able to get to that load time your manager wants, but here are some tuning tips you can follow (if you haven't done so): https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/JIRA+Performance+Tuning

Hope this helps!

Cheers!
