Jira Next Gen, how do I find the Issue ID?

I have an ID AAA-12 but I'm looking for the all numeric ID.  It looks like only the number would work in the query "parent =10017"

I'm sure parent = AAA-12 should be working fine
Are there really subtasks in this issue? If there are, maybe try reindexing a project
