Jira Insights - How to unblock it

When trying to turn on JIRA insights for a scrum board my team is unable to do so, When going through the steps/help box the team lead is unable to generate insight? Is there something else they should look into?

Hi @Akil Butler,

There is not much you can configure. Two main things are important:

  • you should enable the View aggregated data permission in your project(s): see this support article for a bit more detail on that matter.
  • if your board is based on a filter, that same article states that your filter should include a specific project

Hope this helps!

This is also a problem for us, impacting one team board that i know of.

the project has the View Aggregate Data Permissions set, 

the users have the permission to view the project, view aggregate date, the filter driving the board has permissions set the filter query is associated directly to the project using a project = <key> clause

If i switch to other projects, the insights work fine. 

it seems like there is some other discreet problem blocking insights on this one board..Is it dependant on a column setup/mapping, or swimlane configuration? I'm clutching at straws because there's little else to go on here and all the things recommended to check have been addressed.
