Jira Initialization error in .Net Csharp on Development Server using CreateRestClient method

I am trying to create issue in JIRA using C sharp .Net code by using Atlassian.Jira dll. 

Everything works on my local machine right from Jira client initialization to JIRA issue creation. But, it doesn't work on development server. 

The Stack Trace of the error that i am getting is shown below :

Class Name:  Newtonsoft.Json.Linq.JToken


 Message: Error reading JToken from JsonReader. Path '', line 0, position 0.
