Hi,
we have use Jira 3.12 for a long time - now we move to a new Server (fresh Jira installation (standalone) with Database export and import (from commandline (mysqldump))).
Now if we try to use the Export function (all formats), we got this error message:

From the Logfile i don't got more informations. :(
We got a hint from support to delete the content from:
* JIRA Home Directory\plugins\.osgi-plugins (not found)
* JIRA Home Directory\plugins\.bundled-plugins (not found)
* JIRA Installation Directory\work directory (found)
* JIRA Home Directory\caches\indexes (not found)
But it dosen't help.
Can anybody help?
Thanks and best Regards,
Fabian
Hi Nic,
yes - i've already reindexing. Yes i would check the differences.
Thanks.
There's something significantly wrong with your installation if you are missing the contents of osgi plugins, bundled plugins and the index directory.
Could you give us a bit more detail on your setup - start with the current version of Jira - have you upgraded from 3.12 to a later version? If not, then those missing directories would make sense, but it would also tell us that whatever support you asked for, you got advice for a later version.
If you have upgraded from 3.12, then can you tell us the steps you took to upgrade?

Hi Nic,
no, i don't make a update - i make a fresh new installation of jira 3.12 (create a new database).
The old version was 3.12 too.
After this, i import the content of the old Database with mysql command line tool (export with mysqldump / restore with "mysql -uroot -p < jiradump.sql").

i have a index directory (under the home (/var/jira) but no "/var/jira/caches/indexes"

Ah, that makes more sense. Your support call response contains a load of stuff that is completely wrong for version 3.12 - the directories are wrong, the contents of osgi stuff etc.
Next thing to look at is your server move. It sounds like you created a new empty Standalone Jira and then imported your data. That's good, but you haven't mentioned re-indexing - have you done that on the new system?
Also, barring the change of server name, do you know what the differences between the old and new configurations are?
