Im looking to create a Jira custom field where in it I can add a number value.

Once transitioned this number will then remove 20 from a set insight object.

For example the insight object is set at 100.

The field contains 20 and the transition reduces the insight number down to 80.

Another ticket then contains 10 and this reduces the insight object down to 70.. etc

Is this possible?

Cheers

Phil

Hello @PhilSpo ,

As far as I know, there is no other way to do this but creating a dedicated Script.

It is not an easy operation. However, if this other number was contained in a Jira custom field too you could do what you just explained using an Automation rule, i don't know if it is a viable option for you.
