Jira Cloud and Asset Management

I am using Jira cloud and attempting to follow the https://docs.google.com/viewer?url=http://atlassianblog.wpengine.com/wp-content/uploads/assetebook.pdf guide.

However Jira Cloud no longer has the simple issue tracking project type.

How would I do this now?

I believe that document is the same one as this link. This article is 4 years old, does Atlassian use this anymore? It would be nice if they updated it.

When I was testing with this article, I just made a "Basic" Servicedesk and pretty much deleted everything and started with a blank slate.
