Jira Business Project Add Issues to Version

I'm able to create a version in the project settings but there doesn't seem to be a way to assign any issues to the version.  All the documentation I can find is for development boards, not business projects.

You should add Fix versions field to the issue screens. Then you can link an issue to a version through the field. Or what are you trying to do?

I'm trying to encapsulate the work in milestones so all tasks are time-boxed with a 'release' to the client.
