Jira-Bamboo plugin support in Jira 6.3

Shital Kore August 5, 2014

We have recently upgraded our Jira and Bamboo version.

Updated Jira Version - 6.3

Updated Bamboo Version - 5.6.0

Since upgradation Jira is not showing Bamboo builds under Builds tab.

In Jira to show Atlassian bamboo builds under builds tab of the particular issue we require Jira bamboo plugin

And Jira bamboo plugin by Atlassian for Jira server is supported on 6.2-6.2.7 and Jira cloud.[We have 6.3 Jira version].

I would like to know when this plugin will be supported by Jira 6.3.

Hi Felipe,

There is some confusion over your reply.

It’s not mentioned anywhere in the release notes about the build tab deprecation.

- Please refer the link the JIRA 6.3 release notes here:

https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/JIRA+6.3+Release+Notes

They have given description Build Tab also in the latest release. On top of that, they have given new futures under Build tab and that they have mentioned in the latest release notes and Development tab is already there from last 4-5 version.

Hi Shital,

JIRA 6.3 and Bamboo 5.6 are surely compatible with each other.

However, in newer JIRA versions such as 6.3, the Builds tab is being deprecated, and is being replaced by the Development panel:
