Jira Backlogs & Assigning Issues

Hello All,

Please I have been having difficulty with the Questions below

1) Whenever I add a new issue to the Backlog of a project. The issue is not always visible on the Backlog. I usually have to go to the Issues Tab to have access to newly created issues before I can assign story points and an assignee to the issue. 

2) Please how do I auto assign a QA person to Issues in a Particular JIRA Project

Please how do I solve this Problem?

Hi @Ayeni Oyinkansola ,

1. You may need to check the board's filter query. Backlog issues are based on your board's filter query. 

2. If you have a script runner plugin you can Round Robin Assign Issue to Users in a Certain Project Role
