Jira Automations - Detect leftover Epics

Dear all,

probably a basic question but I am looking for a Jira Automation to detect leftover epics. Something that implements a logic that flags all Epics and comments on them in case either the Epic nor any sub task/story or sub-sub tasks has been updated within the last 14 days. I guess its possible with the branching logic but not sure.

A few more requirements:

• The automation should always only comment on the EPIC not on any subtask.
• It is built in a way so generic so I can spread it across multiple projects. For now I am testing it with one project.

What have you tried thus far to solve this need?

If you have a rule and it is not working as expected, please post the following to provide context for the community to offer suggestions:

• what problem are you trying to solve by doing this; that is, "why do this?"
• what type of project is this (e.g., company-managed, team-managed, etc.), 
• an image of your complete automation rule,
• images of any relevant actions / conditions / branches,
• an image of the audit log details showing the rule execution, and
• explain what is not working as expected.

To help clarify what you need, I suggest considering the problem you are trying to solve.  As your question is written, did you actually want to detect the Epics (and their child issues) which have NOT been updated in 14 days?
