Jira 6.4.7 Story Points missing on generated scheme?

Timothy Harris July 1, 2015

Upgraded my instance to 6.4.7. Now whenever creating a Scrum project. There is automatically generated project specific schemes. I can see a screen scheme for Bugs and default screen scheme for all other issue types.

Problem is the Story Points custom field is NOT added to the screens!

What are these schemes based on? Is default screen?

How do ensure that Story Points field is added by default?

Finally, this seems like a step in the right direction in regards to templating project configuration. If we could define a set of screens as default templates that would be great!

You will have to check what your Project Screen Scheme is for a specific issue type. There, check the "Create" "Edit" and "View" screen if Story Points is available, if not just add it. If you cannot find it, check if your Field Configuration scheme if it's there.

Timothy, templating JIRA Projects has been requested a long long time ago, take a look at https://jira.atlassian.com/browse/JRA-7020 and watch/vote for it smile
