Jira 6.2 and Zephyr

Lynne Johnson February 25, 2014

We have just installed the latest installation of Jira 6.2 and purchased the latest version of Zephyr but we are unable to install it because it is not compatable with Jira 6.2. When will Zephyr be available for jira 6.2?

Hi Emily,

We are just putting a Business case through for buying Zephyr for Jira and the Confluence integration is a must for us. Will the blueprints be free or are you going to sell them seperately?

Hi Matthew,

Thank you for pointing this out. Currently we are working on a new product called Zephyr Blueprint. This will Allow you to bring Zephyr for JIRA information into Confluence. Until this is out, the Zephyr for JIRA data will not be able to be pulled into Confluence.

The best way to stay up to date on this issue is to check out our blog. Any new information we have regarding it will get posted here:

Stay Tuned,

Emily

Out of interest we have just installed a trial version of the latest version of Zephyr and have just upgraded to v6.2 of JIRA. We are still having the same issue with regards getting the zephyr gadgets to pull data into confluence.

Hi Everyone,

We just got word that Zephyr for JIRA 2.2 was released. You should now be able to upgrade and have Zephyr for JIRA 2.2 be fully compatible with JIRA version 6.2.

https://marketplace.atlassian.com/plugins/com.thed.zephyr.je

*** UPGRADE INSTRUCTIONS ***

After performing a normal upgrade via the UPM, please first re-index JIRA and then re-index Zephyr for JIRA in order to start seeing your data.

Kind Regards,
Emily

This is a serious problem for us and we need a solution as a matter of urgency. We are unable to view our test cycles using Zephyr for JIRA 2.1.2.1465 and JIRA 6.2. We only updated the plugin because the version we were running was giving an 'invalid license' error when attempting to view our test cycles. We need a solution ASAP

Please don't take this the wrong way. Always go to the manage add-ons page and use the JIRA Update Checker if you use multiple add-ons to see if they are compatible with the version you are updating to. Not sure if you were aware of this feature.

Hi Andrew,

Did that first, actually, but no updates for Zephyr. I opened a support request with Zephyr, who confirmed it's a problem and that a fix is 1-2 weeks away.

Ouch - we just upgraded due to the security notification for JIRA, and now our Zephyr Dashboards all show 'Undefined' for the Test Execution and Test Cycle Dashboards

Hi Lynne,

When you say JIRA 6.2 do you mean you are using JIRA OnDemand?

Kind Regards,

Emily

Lynne Johnson February 25, 2014

Emily

We just installed it on our server. We are not using OnDemand.

Best, Lynne
