Jelly script performance issue with JIRA 6.1.5

Tukaram Bhukya [L&T INFOTECH] May 13, 2014

We are running jelly script ( Every hour) as service to move issue status from open to overdue based on past due date.

We have around 5 thousand issues and 15 projects

Will it cause any performance issue if it run every 1 hour ?

It depends on the power of the server machine which is running JIRA. My experiences with bulk changes show me that there shouldn't be any performance issue.
