JRIA filter for hours worked after a sprint is started

I'm looking for a solution to find the time logged on issues after a sprint has been started. by using timespent and sprint in openSprints() I can get the issues with time logged against them, but it shows me all the time logged even if the time was logged outside of the sprint. Any ideas on how to expand what we are currently using?

timespent is not null AND sprint in openSprints()

I am afraid you will have to use a plugin like Tempo which can filter worklogs for a given time period. There is nothing in JQL that you can use.

JQL queries return a list of issues where the conditions you set were true, but after the query, you will just have a list of issues, and therefore you have no additional means of separating and/or counting the timespent values for a given period.

In the end, you are querying (and getting) issues, and not worklog entries.

Because of that, you can not do what you want without additional help from an addon.

Besides Jobin's proposal of Tempo addon, you have a free alternative called JIRA Timesheet Reports and Gadgets that you will find through this URL (if you have JIRA Cloud):

https://COMPANY.atlassian.net/plugins/servlet/upm#manage/jira-timesheet-plugin

It is preinstalled, meaning that you will have it instantly by clicking on a button.

Once installed, you will have a new gadget available, named 'Project Pivot', that you could add to any of your dashboards and that does exactly what you need.

For more information, have a look at the documentation:

Hope it helps.
