JQL to find all Issues with linkType = Blocks for a specific issue (ex - Story)

Edited

I've searched through a lot of similar questions but I can't seem to get the syntax correct. I have a story that has multiple blockers, and I am looking for a JQL query that quickly outputs all those blockers in a list.

My company uses

Jira v8.13.20

This gives me the story under an epic that has the "blocks" links, but I want to be able to query for the specific story and find the linked issues that are blocking it:

"Epic Link" = 12345 and issueFunction in hasLinks("is blocked by") and resolution is empty

I've used this as a reference: https://scriptrunner.adaptavist.com/latest/jira/jql-functions.html#_issue_links, but again can't seem to get the syntax right.

Hi @Craig Brehmer

Have you tried the linkedIssues() function: https://confluence.atlassian.com/jirasoftwareserver/advanced-searching-functions-reference-939938746.html#Advancedsearchingfunctionsreference-linkedIssueslinkedIssues()

Perhaps like this:

key IN linkedIssues(myStoryKey-1234, "is blocked by")

Kind regards,
Bill
