Just filtering for issues assigned to inactive users results in a wrong result set:
Our Jira instance interacts with our Active Directory for accessing Jira and user privileges via AD groups. In other cases – for non personal user accounts – we use Jira internal accounts without coupling to AD.
In some cases where users are granted access rights to Jira via AD groups the users are identified as “inactive” by the InactiveUsers()-function. We have inspected these accounts in Jira and could not find any problem. The users seem to have at least Jira access. We know that some of the users have worked with Jira in the last weeks.
What are the properties and values of a Jira user account to decide if a account is active or inactive?

Matthias Schmenner
