JQL Issue : how to search a keyword in a field

Hi all!

I met some difficulties to create JQL queries in order to search for keywords in my JIRA database.

For example I would like to find all JIRA files which contain a keyword (example : issue) and the actual year 2013.

so I've tried to write this summary ~ "2013 && issue"

Unfortunatey as a result, I have only the JIRA with the summary like ".... issue .... 4 Jan 2013...." (I am french)

I cannot see the JIRA with the summary like ".... issue .... 04/01/2013...."

What is the correct JIRA query in order to see all these JIRA files? (in fact like the sql query "LIKE '%issue%2013%'?

The problem is you cannot use wildcard at the beginning of a phrase.But there is a way, it looks aweful but this should work.

If I get you right, you want to search for two different keyword in the summary?

summary ~ "keyword" AND summary ~ "2013"

This finds a summary like "...keyword...2013..."

It has the same action as "summary ~ "2013 && issue"". The JIRA with the words "XX/XX/2013" are still missing.

The problem is that JIRA select only the summaries where 2013 is not concatenated with other letters. I have tried to write summary ~ "*2013" but as a result it gave me an error.
