JIra + Eclipse No Permission

Simon Williams October 6, 2012

When trying to update repository configuration in Eclipse I get the following:

By virtue of the groups I am in, I have all project roles, but I also gave myself all roles explicitly and it made no difference. Asking for my permissions from the API in a web browser gives me:

{"permissions":{"EDIT_ISSUE":{"id":"12","key":"EDIT_ISSUE","name":"Edit Issues","description":"Ability to edit issues.","havePermission":true},"VIEW_VERSION_CONTROL":{"id":"29","key":"VIEW_VERSION_CONTROL","name":"View Issue Source Tab","description":"Allows users to view related source code commits on the view issue screen.","havePermission":true},"CLOSE_ISSUE":{"id":"18","key":"CLOSE_ISSUE","name":"Close Issues","description":"Ability to close issues. so I do have browse permission. Using the project service I get:

I am using Jira 5.1.5, Greenhopper 6.0.4 and Eclipse Juno with Atlassian Connector 3.0.6.
Any and all help gratefully recieved!

I wonder, does your remote user actually have 'jira-user' status? Try a full users creds, does that work?

{"id":"1","key":"USE","name":"JIRA Users","description":"Ability to log in to JIRA. They are a 'user'. Any new users created will automatically join these groups, unless those groups have JIRA System Administrators or JIRA Administrators permissions.","havePermission":false}
