JIRA - unknown bamboo rest request

Lukáš Maruniak September 23, 2014

Hi,

We are doing some performance test development for JIRA. Recently we discovered, that one REST request, which is not required, but is still appearing in our execution test result and is taking 10s. approx.

It's: http://our-jira-instance/rest/bamboo/latest/deploy/WE/WE-4195

I haven't found anything related in Bamboo, or JIRA REST API documentation to this request.

What is it for, and how can we get rid of it ?

Thanks in advance

I am not sure what exactly this would be for.  I believe this is something that you or someone else with access to your bamboo instance has created.  Looks like it's the API call that will trigger a deployment on a succesfull build.  If you need the deployment then you can't delete it, but if you no longer need the deployment associated with the build then you can remove it.

Not how you are seeing this in JIRA.  This is clearly a Bamboo API call.
