JIRA server is down due to Gadgets Plugin not able to start

Hi All,

Our JIRA QA server is down due to,

JIRA Startup Failed
You cannot access JIRA at present. Look at the table below to identify the reasons

Description
The following plugins are required by JIRA, but have not been started:

Atlassian JIRA - Plugins - Gadgets Plugin (com.atlassian.jira.gadgets)

Could anyone know what is the issue.

I have tried the below fixes but it is not working,

1. Plugins require more time to startup -Have increased the timeout to 600

2. Corrupted plugin caches - cleared and recreated your plugin caches from scratch

3. Java version using is jre7 and jira instance is 5.2.11

But still the problem is not fixed.

Please find the details log trace below,

Hi Vinutha,

Could you try running a disk access speed test? https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRAKB/Testing+Disk+Access+Speed

Also, try increasing the memory available for JIRA: https://confluence.atlassian.com/display/JIRA/Increasing+JIRA+Memory

This doc may also provide further help: http://blog.networkedcollaboration.com/2012/03/05/troubleshooting-jira-startup-errors/

Let me know how it goes. :)
