JIRA requires password to be re-entered continuously

This is an itermittant problem. I've seen it in the Admin account, and now a user is reporting it. JIRA demands that the password be re-entered each time you nagivate to a new page, despite being logged in.

Hi Rin,

Do you have another application (i.e. Confluence) using almost the same URL address, by any chance?

Maybe you are hitting into the problem described on this KB article

This is actually our community channel, not the support channel. We usually wait for the questions to have an accepted answer and usually leave the question open if other people have any other suggestions to give.
